Communications at the Boston Marathon Bombing

Captain Ray Dupuis of the Watertown (Massachusetts) Police Department oversaw communications and personnel assignments during the manhunt for the second suspect in 2013’s Boston Marathon Bombing.

In this riveting keynote, he will share what happened in first minutes after the explosions at the marathon finish line, then explain police and EMS action plans that day. Captain Dupuis will  cover what took place leading up to the confrontation with the bombers and subsequent shoot-out in Watertown, as well as the capture of “Suspect # 2,” Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev.
