As the US Film Academy Awards approach their 94th anniversary, Delphine Lievens, advocate for diversity and better representation in British Film Culture joins us for this discussion and Q&A.

She’ll touch on the Oscars’ nominees this year, the state of play in the industry today, and the history of the Oscars and these topics. With extensive clips and slides, this will be a fascinating evening, complete with a chance to ask your questions at the end.

Delphine has worked with the Independent Cinema Office and BFI on tackling issues surrounding diversity in the UK film industry and was one of the Birds Eye View future leaders in distribution 2020. She's also a board member for Live Cinema and Head of Distribution at Bohemia Media, a London-based production and distribution company which focusses on films by and about underrepresented communities.

The event will run 6.30-8pm. There is a screening of King Richard in Cinema 2 at 8.20pm after the talk, tickets for which must be purchased separately.
