The Barbican works with specific schools in East London as part of a structured summer work experience program for students, and we do not take on ad hoc work experience students.
Apprenticeships and placements
The Barbican Centre offers a variety of apprenticeships and graduate and intern placements throughout the year across many of our departments. They provide opportunities for enthusiastic individuals to develop and apply their skills with hands on experience in specialist areas of the Barbican. These include Theatre Administration, IT, Marketing and Communications.
All current opportunities are listed with our other vacancies. Due to the high volume of interest we receive, we are not able to consider speculative CVs and you will need to apply for specific roles as they arise.
